We do not control your Credit Score or what a creditor records. Any debt solution may influence your credit score; however, you are talking to me today because you are struggling to pay your debts so to some extend your credit rating may already be affected.

Remember the Debt Management Plan agrees with the creditors to accept a payment you can afford; however this is usually less than the payment you where set in the contract with your creditor. The creditor will still record your account as ‘in arrears’ based on the original payment. Don’t worry about this, this does not affect the arrangement.

Creditors may send you a communication asking you to contact them at the end of this period, please refer them to us. Again, it will cause confusion if you enter into any correspondence or discussion with them, we ned to deal with this on your behalf, to ensure we provide the right information and support you with the plan.
